Our Management

Dr. Christian Vinck and Dr. Tim Ellringmann are the managing directors of TKMC and responsible for the strategic and operational management, development and success of our in-house consulting.

Dr. Christian Vinck

Christian Vinck joined TKMC in October 2013 and has been managing director since January 2017. He previously spent several years with BCG and Helbling Business Advisors in Düsseldorf as an external consultant.During this time he gathered experience in particular in the mechanical engineering, automotive, steel (distribution), aerospace and consumer goods sectors, focusing on corporate development, restructuring and optimization of sales structures.

In his role as managing director, in addition to providing subject-matter input and project-specific knowledge he is closely involved in the areas of talent acquisition, alumni management and project staffing.

Christian Vinck has a degree in economics from the Open University in Hagen and a PhD in strategy development and strategic controlling.

Dr. Tim Ellringmann

Tim Ellringmann has been managing director of TKMC since April 2018.Prior to that he spent 8 years with McKinsey, latterly as an associate partner. His work focused mainly on the automotive industry, operations, digitization and advanced analytics. In addition to automotive OEMs, parts suppliers and mobility service providers he also advised companies in the chemical and retail sectors, mainly in Europe and North America.

In his role as managing director, in addition to providing subject-matter input and project-specific knowledge he is closely involved in the areas of career development, project portfolio and our partner network.

Tim Ellringmann studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and Ecole Centrale Paris, majoring in production engineering. He gained a PhD in fiber composites at RWTH Aachen.

Alongside the managing directors, our management team currently includes 12 colleagues who as project managers and principals are responsible for the success of our international projects. With their wide range of expertise and together with a team of interns, consultants and senior consultants they support our customers throughout the Group and thus contribute to a sustainable realignment of the thyssenkrupp Group.

Right now, at a time when the fundamentals are being laid for a successful future for thyssenkrupp, we have been there right from the start. As TKMC, we have the opportunity to support a far-reaching change in a global DAX 30 group and set the starting point for a successful future.
